Do your music liked depend on your parents' opinion?
| Цель: обеспечить в ходе урока условия для формирования умений и навыков монологического высказывания – выражения мнения о своих музыкальных предпочтениях и вкусах. Задачи: 1. Способствовать развитию умений выделять главное, существенное в изучаемом материале, логически излагать свои мысли по теме урока. 2. Обобщить грамматический материал «Герундий» с целью использования его в речи учащихся по теме «Музыкальные предпочтения». 3. Создать условия для формирования умений и навыков чтения и понимания монологического текста как источника информации и предмета последующего обсуждения. Виды речевой деятельности: говорение, чтение. Режим работы: фронтальный, индивидуальный, групповой. Организационный момент 1. Good morning, children. I’m so glad to see you…How are you?... I’m OK. Сообщение темы, цели и задач урока 2. Students, have a look at the board. The topic of our lessons is "Do your music likes depend on your parents’ opinion?”. Who knows, what are we going to speak about?... Correct, of course about music, …what you prefer to listen to, … about musical instruments,…styles of music,…and what your parents think about the music you enjoy listening to! II. Фонетическая зарядка 3. Can you think of a day without music? We can hear music everywhere: in the streets and at home, over the radio and on TV, in the shops and in the parks. People all over the world are fond of music. They enjoy listening to music, dancing to music, learning to play musical instruments. 4. Let’s remember them… III. Речевая разминка 5. Well done!...Just imagine that you can play the musical instrument. Let’s speak a little bit in a such way. - I enjoy playing the piano. And you? Thank you very much. IV. Закрепление грамматического материала по теме «Герундий» 6. Everyone of you says "playing”…why not "to play”? … Correct. Who remembers and can translate into Russian this grammatical item "Gerund”?...Thanks! 7. Please, look at the board. Now we shall review this topic. First exercise is dividing into to groups the verbs. (работа на ИД: классификация глаголов с герундием и инфинитивом 8. Look at the next task. There is an English proverb. Choose the correct variant and explain why…Very nice of you! 9. Now, children, we should translate it and give the Russian equivalent of it. 10. Fine! The next task on the computers, please join in a group of three. And do the quiz. (работа на компьютерах) V. Музыкальная пауза. 11. Are you tired? Let’s relax. What styles of music can you name?...Now you will listen to them, and try to remember the order of types. 12. Take a look at the board. What is the order of these music styles? …Very good! Let’s read and understand them…. I. Read the text. It goes without saying that music plays a very important role in people's lives. It reflects our moods and emotions. Music appeals to our hearts and transforms our feelings. It conquers our souls and enriches our minds. Besides, listening to music is the perfect way to spend free time and not to feel bored. I love music; I think people cannot live without it. The first thing I do in the morning I switch on my tape - recorder. I think it's really doesn't matter what kind of music you prefer: rock, pop, classical, jazz. A lot of people are fond of music. They buy CDs, go to the concerts, and visit Concert Halls and Opera Theatres. I guess all depends on person’s preference. Take me. I don’t mind listening to various music. But I prefer to listen to dance, especially when I go to the disco clubs. Unfortunately, my parents don’t share my likes. They insist on my playing the violin. They can’t stand modern styles. They suppose the music as dance, for example, is rubbish. I object to pressing my likes. And I’m sure of their having the same problem when they were young. I’m looking forward to becoming an adult and having the right to choose. II. Find out the English equivalent. 1. Музыка взывает к нашим сердцам. 2. Она захватывает наши души и обогащает наш разум. 3. Я думаю, всё зависит от наших предпочтений. 4. К сожалению, мои родители не разделяют моих предпочтений. 5. Они настаивают, чтобы я играл на скрипке. 6. Я жду с нетерпением, когда стану взрослым и у меня будет право выбора. III. Define whether the sentence true or false. a) The choice of music depends on parent’s opinion. b) The problem between the parents and the author is because of his likes of music . c) Not many people like listening different types of music. d) Music can’t transform our feelings. e) The author can’t stand listening the music in the mornings. f) The author doesn’t like various styles of music. g) The author prefers listening to pop music. VII. Обучение устной речи 14. Please, look in the text once again and answer: "Do the author’s parents share his music likes?... Why do you think so? Read the exact sentence out…. 15. And what about you? (на ИД опорные вопросы - screenshort 11) - What do you prefer to listen to? - Why? - Do your parents like or dislike your preference? Why? You have to make up 5 sentences at least. VIII. Подведение итогов. Next lesson we are going to go to a concert.
